Peace March, a gesture for a cause

I participated in a peace march as a tribute for Nirbhaya, the 23 year old victim of Delhi gang-rape in late 2012. This peace march was organized by Udhay Kumar, a resident of Erlangen in Germany. I walked along with IWG (International Womens' Group). What really amused me is the number of people who turned up to walk and brave the -2 degree temperature. People of various nationalities walked for the cause to "Stop Violence". Several women spoke in the support of women's empowerment. It is very heartening to see the cause of women's empowerment and empathy towards a victim of brutal rape in some part of the world.

Be the change you want to see

All these people and events of elements of change. And I am glad to be a part of the change!

Glad to see that this is catching on not only in India but all over the world.
Its time that the authorities and the governance realised that the common man is not going to take it lying down.
