The Spanish Tapas lounge Caperberry probably has its share of noise about the Chef's venture but for me, a first timer, it was mui bien. The ambiance was relaxed with a lounge at the entrance, specialist bar counter and fine dining inside with the light interiors. The music is soothing and the place is never full, the way I like it. Cocktails and wine collection is pretty standard. Tapas is obviously the main attraction of the place.
The vegetarian platter has 3 different tapas or short eats. Crumb fried mushroom, spinach and corn topping on bread and green and black olives in wine. Quaint little potato wedges with fresh cream and tomato toppings, nicely washed down by Sangria.
Main course for the vegetarian is Shitake mushroom rice with a spicy flavour and thin crust pizza with spinach, egg plant, olives and some more vegetables. Ofcourse I am never a main course person. I like starters and hence the tapas, but totally enjoy desserts.
Dessert was Spanish Churros with Chocolate dip. This totally made my evening in addition to the lovely ambiance.
